The Matt After School Program (MAP) is designed to provide a safe, relaxing, and otherwise enjoyable environment for school age students who might otherwise be left at home unsupervised during the day.  The program will be an operation from school dismissal until 6:00 PM on the days students attend school. Activities will include snack, homework time, movie day, recreation, sports, and free play. We are committed to excellence and after school care by providing experience staff that have passed a criminal records check and are certified in first aid and CPR.

Enrollment and Payments

A registration fee of $72.73 per child is required prior to participate in the MAP. Registration for families with more than one child is $72.73 for each child.

Weekly Fees:

  • $81.25 for the first child
  • $60.06 for per additional children

2026-2027 Payment Process

  • Purchase the registration fee on SchoolPay for each student enrolling in MAP.
  • Your student(s) will be added to the Weekly Recurring Payments in SchoolPay once you have paid the initial registration fee.
  • You will receive an email and/or see it in SchoolPay when your student(s) is added. You will then need to purchase the Weekly Recurring Payment one time, per child.
  • Once you have made the initial payment, no further action is required. If you complete this purchase more than once, you will be creating more than one recurring charge.
  • The fee per student will automatically be billed every week using the card on file in your SchoolPay account.
  • Recurring payments are mandatory for all students.
  • Recurring payments of $81.25 will be charged weekly for 37 weeks (the number of weeks during the school year).
  • For any additional children, $60.06 will be charged.
  • Please note, your card will automatically be charged weekly, even during school breaks.
  • Once the 37th payment has completed, the recurring payments will be terminated.
  • If a student no longer attends MAP, please contact Sydney Johnson to stop the payments.

For questions, contact Sydney Johnson.

Late Payment Policy

  • If the recurring payment is terminated in SchoolPay due to lack of funds or issues with the card on file, the parent must update the recurring payment method for the student to continue to attend MAP.
  • The student will be removed and placed on the waiting list if the payments are not met within one week of the termination. A link will be provided to the parent to update the payment method. Parents will be notified when the termination occurs, but it is the responsibility of the parent to guarantee funds are available and functional.

Hours

  • The MAP will not be open during school holidays or inclement weather days.
  • The hours are from school dismissal until 6:00 PM.
  • If you are late picking up your child the cost will be one dollar per minute. This payment will need to provided to the director upon pick up of the student.
  • Three (3) or more late pick ups will result in dismissal from the afterschool program.
  • If you’re going to be late, please contact the MAP director so we know you are on your way. If we cannot locate a parent after 6:00 PM we will begin calling the authorized people on the registration form.
  • In the event that no one can be reached after a reasonable length of time the MAP director and or principal will contact the police department or DFCS.

Pick Up

  • Release of students will be only be to the parents or authorized persons.
  • The MAP directors are to be notified in writing of any changes in authorized pick up personel.
  • A valid driver’s license or passport will be checked until staff is familiar with parents or authorized persons. Please park in the front of the school and come in the main entrance.

Early Dismissal/Early Release Days

  • In the event of early school dismissal due to inclement weather or other emergencies, the MAP will not be open. Students will be released according to the parent instructions to their teacher.
  • During early release days the program will run from 11:50 AM until 6:00 PM at no additional charge.

Behavior Guidelines

We must strive to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to the safety of all children.

In order to maintain a safe environment for all students, rules and consquences for each grade level will be implemented. The MAP director will enforce the following consequences:

  • 1st incident- verbal warning
  • 2nd incident- time out
  • 3rd incident- suspended from program for one week
  • 4th incident- released from MAP for remainder of the school year

Clothing

  • Please dress students appropriately for the weather and according to school regulations. Kindergarten students need to have an extra set of clothes in their backpack.

Snacks

  • Snacks and water are provided daily.

Backpaks

  • All personal items being sent home from the classroom should remain in student backpacks. We do allow children to bring small toys, etc. to play with during MAP hours.
  • Please only send items you are comfortable sending with your child. Any item brought is the responsibility of the student and the MAP is not responsible for any items lost, stolen or broken.
