Gifted Education
In Gifted Resource, students in grades 1-5 will engage in advanced learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Throughout the year, students will explore complex topics through inquiry-based learning, research, STEM challenges, literature connections, and opportunities for innovation. Lessons are designed to extend grade-level standards while encouraging students to anpeers, and communicate their thinking effectively. Families can look forward to exciting projects, hands-on investigations, enrichment opportunities, and showcases that highlight student growth and achievement throughout the year. We are excited to share with our families a wonderful year of learning, discovery, and growth with our gifted learners!alyze, evaluate, create, and apply their learning in meaningful ways. Key units may include engineering and design, leadership, interdisciplinary research, global issues, creative problem-solving, and project-based learning experiences tailored to challenge gifted learners.
Students are expected to demonstrate curiosity, perseverance, independence, and a willingness to think deeply about ideas and concepts. They will be encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, take academic risks, collaborate respectfully with peers, and communicate their thinking effectively.
