Ride the Waves of Learning in the Media Center

Welcome, Matt Mariners!
The Media Center is the heart of our school. It is a welcoming space where students read, learn, create, and grow.

Students can check out books, explore new topics, and enjoy a quiet place to read. For hands-on learning, students can visit our Curiosity Lab, where they design, build, and create as inventors and problem-solvers.

The Media Center also supports collaboration and critical thinking. Students participate in thematic activities, play chess to build strategy skills, and work together on engaging projects.

In addition, classes use the Media Center for book check-in and check-out, animated story read‑alouds, and lessons on digital citizenship. The space also hosts special schoolwide events, including plays and spelling bees.

Our Media Center is also home to SeaNN, where students help share school news and develop leadership and communication skills.
