Speech Therapy Department – Matt Elementary

Welcome to the Speech Therapy Department at Matt Elementary. We support students by helping them develop clear communication skills that are essential for learning and social success.

What We Do

  • Screen Kindergarten and First Grade students for possible speech concerns.
  • Address articulation, language, fluency, and voice needs for students at our school.
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) for students who demonstrate speech or language difficulties.
  • Work directly with students on a weekly basis to meet goals outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Collaborate with general education and special education teachers to support student success across settings.
